How should firewood be stored?
Dry firewood is best kept in a location protected from precipitation while still allowing airflow. Even when buying logs in nets, prepare enough storage space for the complete order before delivery.
Protect the stock from rain and snow
Keep firewood under a roof or other effective cover. Do not leave nets for long periods directly on wet ground or a damp floor. Outdoor storage should reduce exposure to both precipitation and moisture from below.
Allow air movement
Firewood benefits from ventilation. If logs become wet, avoid sealing them in an airtight covering that prevents drying. A practical storage area combines weather protection with enough airflow for moisture to escape.
Plan space and access
Consider net volume, log length and total quantity. For a larger delivery, check vehicle access and the unloading point in advance. Arrange the stock so individual nets remain reasonably accessible.
